Terms of attendance for the UK–Africa Women in Food & Agribusiness Summit 2026.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your attendance at the UK–Africa Women in Food & Agribusiness Summit 2026 ("the Summit"), taking place 3–5 June 2026 at Marble Arch Hotel, London, organised by Guzakuza UK and WiFAI (Women in Food & AgriTech Innovation).
By registering for the Summit, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before completing your registration.
1. Registration and Passes
- Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
- Passes are personal and non-transferable without prior written consent from the organisers.
- Each pass type grants specific access as described on the registration page. Access beyond the scope of your pass type is not permitted.
- The organisers reserve the right to decline or cancel any registration at their discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.
2. Payment
- All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of any applicable booking fees.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.
- Booking fees charged by the payment processor are non-refundable.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations received more than 30 days before the Summit (before 3 May 2026) will receive a full refund, less booking fees.
- Cancellations received between 14 and 30 days before the Summit (4–18 May 2026) will receive a 50% refund of the pass price, less booking fees.
- Cancellations received fewer than 14 days before the Summit (after 19 May 2026) are non-refundable.
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via the Contact page.
- Substitutions (pass transfer to a named colleague) may be permitted with prior written approval from the organisers, up to 7 days before the event.
4. Changes to the Programme
- The organisers reserve the right to modify the programme, speakers, sessions and schedule at any time without prior notice.
- In the event of a speaker cancellation, the organisers will endeavour to provide a suitable alternative but cannot guarantee replacement.
- Programme changes do not entitle delegates to a refund.
5. Event Cancellation by Organisers
In the unlikely event that the Summit is cancelled in its entirety by the organisers (for reasons including but not limited to force majeure, public health emergencies, venue unavailability or safety concerns), registered delegates will be offered a full refund of the pass price, less booking fees. The organisers are not liable for any other costs incurred, including travel or accommodation.
6. Delegate Conduct
- All delegates are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards other attendees, speakers, staff and venue personnel throughout the Summit.
- The organisers reserve the right to remove any delegate whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, without refund.
- Harassment, discrimination or any behaviour that creates an unsafe environment will not be tolerated.
7. Photography, Recording and Media
- The Summit may be photographed, filmed and recorded. By attending, you consent to appearing in such materials, which may be used in promotional and reporting content.
- If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify staff at the registration desk on arrival.
- Delegates may not record presentations or sessions without prior written consent from the organisers and relevant speaker.
- Accredited press must identify themselves at registration and operate in accordance with the press guidelines provided.
8. Liability
- The organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or theft suffered by delegates during the Summit or associated events.
- Delegates attend at their own risk. The organisers recommend appropriate personal travel and health insurance for international delegates.
- The organisers are not responsible for any costs relating to visa applications, travel or accommodation.
9. Visas and Travel
International delegates are solely responsible for obtaining any necessary visas and travel documentation. The organisers will provide an official invitation letter to registered delegates upon request. We cannot guarantee visa approval or accept liability for travel costs in the event of a visa refusal.
10. Data Protection
Personal data collected during registration and attendance is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. By registering, you confirm that you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
